During the AKP's retreat in Kızılcahamam, Antalya MP Tuğba Vural Çokal spoke about a relative who passed away in a private hospital, stating that the ministry was not conducting sufficient inspections.

Koca replied, "That Health Director was appointed at your request. You cannot shift the responsibility to us. We initiated an inspection regarding private hospitals. You were the one who stopped it."

Intervening, Erdoğan said, "The deceased was one of our district chairs. There is no distinction between private and public health. Necessary inspections must be carried out regardless of the hospital. Check if there is any negligence."

Some MPs also stated that there are serious problems in the healthcare system.

This discussion caused resentment for Minister Koca.

CLAIMS THAT MINISTER KOCA HAS RESIGNED

According to İsmail Saymaz's claim, Koca called Erdoğan today and requested to be relieved of his duties.

Erdoğan accepted the request.

According to another scenario, Erdoğan requested Koca's resignation.

Koca's resignation could be published in tonight's Official Gazette.

İsmail Saymaz asked Health Minister Fahrettin Koca about the claims in question.

In response to the question, "You have requested to be relieved of your duties, is that correct?"

Koca said the following:

“You know, life can take many turns. What matters is serving the nation and the state. In every position.”

Upon the question, "You met with the President today," Koca replied, "We meet all the time."
