A significant development has occurred regarding the Climate Law discussions, which closely concern the country's agriculture but were brought to the TBMM General Assembly almost hidden from the public.
Discussions on the bill, the first four articles of which had already passed the TBMM and which were stated to continue today and tomorrow, have been removed from the TBMM agenda for the time being. It was stated that the backlash regarding the law was effective in this decision.
According to surveys, the critical bill, which 70 percent of the public was unaware of, had created serious question marks for farmers engaged in traditional agriculture, and environmental and agricultural organizations had reacted to the bill.
