Code names revealed: Striking details in the fake diploma gang indictment!

The indictment prepared as part of a comprehensive investigation conducted in Istanbul contains striking details regarding the operations of the e-signature gang. The documents state that instead of using their real names, the organization members communicated using code names such as "Alex," "Pablo," "Fuat Tanış," and "Chief." Furthermore, it was noted that some of the suspects had connections abroad and that the organization members did not even know each other.

According to the indictment, Ziya Kadiroğlu, known as "Teacher Ziya," stated during his prosecution interrogation that he did not know the real name of the person codenamed "Pablo" and that he directed diploma requests received via WhatsApp to this person. According to a report by Türkiye Gazetesi, Kadiroğlu explained that after the requests were made, online applications were submitted through public education centers, that he received payments ranging from 1 thousand to 5 thousand liras in return for this process, and that the payments were mostly deposited into a bank account belonging to his ex-wife, Nurgül Yalçın.

Kadiroğlu stated that he requested 50 thousand TL per document for arranging diplomas and certificates, and that he issued warnings about confidentiality after the documents were delivered. He also said that the person codenamed "Chief" worked as an education consultant in Macedonia and that he received payments between 15–20 thousand TL per document from this individual.

In his statement to the prosecutor, Kadiroğlu revealed that the person nicknamed "Miço" was Mıhyeddin Yakışır and that he had asked him for a loan; that he received 50 thousand TL in return for documents he sent to the person codenamed "Fuat Tanış"; and that the person codenamed "Marduk" was Gökay Celal Gülen.
