Colleagues distribute lokma in memory of fallen police officer Şeyda Yılmaz
In memory of police officer Şeyda Yılmaz, who was martyred in Ümraniye, Istanbul, lokma was distributed and prayers were recited at Eyüpsultan Mosque. During the event held after Friday prayers, her colleagues and academy classmates served lokma to citizens. Yılmaz's photograph and the Turkish flag were displayed on the vehicles at the event.

Following Friday prayers at Eyüpsultan Mosque, the Quran was recited in memory of police officer Şeyda Yılmaz, who was martyred on September 22 in the Ümraniye district of Istanbul after being shot by Yunus Emre Geçti, a suspect in a motorcycle theft case.
Martyred Yılmaz's classmates from the Akyurt Vocational Training Center and her police colleagues distributed lokma to citizens in the mosque courtyard. A photograph of Yılmaz, along with the Turkish flag, was pinned to the lapels of those attending the event and displayed on the vehicle used for the distribution.
