Comment from AKP Chairman and President Erdoğan on CHP's primary election

AKP Chairman and President Erdoğan commented on the primary election held by the CHP in a post on his social media account.

Speaking after the Cabinet Meeting and commenting on the agenda, Erdoğan carried the 'primary election' remarks he made there to his social media account.

Erdoğan used the following expressions in his statement:

"Exactly 32 years after the İSKİ scandal, and 80 years after single-party fascism, they have made this nation experience a déjà vu once again.

We personally witnessed yesterday what the ballot box served during the single-party era and what kind of theater was played for years under the guise of elections.                           

It has been proven once again that the CHP's understanding of democracy cannot go a step beyond the comedy of open voting and secret counting.

We will continue to watch with a smile the game that the CHP, which reminded 85 million people once again that they have not changed in the slightest despite the 80 years that have passed, played by itself for itself."
