Altun shared a post on social media regarding the genocide taking place in Gaza.
Fahrettin Altun used the following expressions in his post:
"HUMANITY IS WATCHING THIS TRAGEDY"
"The people of Gaza have been subjected to one of the most brutal attacks the world has ever witnessed for 350 days. Since October 7, humanity has been watching this tragedy that has left deep wounds in its conscience. A page of shame for humanity is being written in Gaza. Cities are being bombed; mosques, hospitals, and schools are being razed to the ground. Innocent civilians, journalists, children, and even babies are being targeted consciously and systematically.
"WE MUST TAKE ACTION IMMEDIATELY"
Israel, disregarding international law, is pursuing a policy of pressure and violence against reliable sources of information in a lawless manner. Journalists who try to report what is happening in the region to the world for the sake of the truth are being murdered. Today is the 350th day of the genocide... Remaining silent in the face of this genocide is to be complicit in this entire tragedy. In the name of justice, in the name of humanity's conscience, and in the name of our future, we must raise our voices and take action immediately to stop this massacre!"
