Duran reacted to CHP Chairman Özgür Özel, stating, "It is observed that a deliberate disinformation campaign has been launched from abroad and domestically both before and after our President Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's meeting with President Trump.

The fact that the CHP leadership is leading this campaign to smear a highly productive meeting is a sign of helplessness and bad faith."

Presidential Communications Director Burhanettin Duran made the following statements in his announcement:

"In recent years, Turkey has proven with its foreign policy performance on the global stage that it is not only a regional actor but also a global balancing element.

Our foreign policy, conducted under the leadership of our President Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, is shaped by an understanding that prioritizes peace, stability, and human dignity based on our national interests. It has become the voice of humanitarian sensitivity and the address for the search for diplomatic solutions in many critical regions of the world, especially regarding the genocide in Gaza.

MET WITH GREAT APPRECIATION

One of the clearest reflections of this approach was seen at the United Nations General Assembly held in recent days. The words of our President, who delivered the most effective speech on Palestine, were met with great appreciation in the international community.

The issue of UN reform, which our President has been expressing at the highest volume for years, has now become a main agenda item in the programs of many countries.

Our President's meeting with US President Trump yesterday also took place in a very constructive and positive framework, and significant progress was made on bilateral relations and regional issues. Despite all the efforts and expectations of anti-Turkey circles, the friendly relations between the two leaders and their shared perspective in a strategic sense left their mark on the visit.

Our President discussed the Palestine issue extensively with President Trump, both at the Gaza meeting on the sidelines of the UN and in their bilateral meeting.

A SERIOUS PROBLEM IN TERMS OF NATIONAL INTERESTS

Unfortunately, Turkey's successes on the diplomatic front in the last week are either ignored or manipulated by some opposition circles at home. While our country gains prestige in foreign policy, the CHP's persistent targeting of our President, its production of information pollution, and its attempt to obscure the truth is a serious problem not only in terms of political ethics but also in terms of national interests.

On the other hand, it is observed that a deliberate disinformation campaign has been launched from abroad and domestically both before and after our President Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's meeting with President Trump. The fact that the CHP leadership is leading this campaign to smear a highly productive meeting is a sign of helplessness and bad faith. It is obvious that this unpatriotic approach, which I believe is an injustice to CHP voters, will not find resonance in the eyes of our nation."
