Stating, "Every victory we have achieved throughout history reminds us of the value of independence, the worth of freedom, and what a great power it is to be a nation," Duran noted the following:
"It is of great significance that we all work with determination, maintain our unity and solidarity, and remain committed to our common goals in order for our country to reach a stronger future.
On the 103rd anniversary of the Great Victory, I commemorate Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, all our beloved martyrs, and our heroic veterans with mercy and respect. Happy August 30 Victory Day."
