Comparison between Bilal and Berat among AKP figures: He is the most suitable for this role

While rumors of debates and factionalism within the AKP regarding who will occupy the leadership seat after Erdoğan continue to be discussed in the corridors, statements from two AKP figures, Mücahit Birinci and Şamil Tayyar, have revealed the reality of this polarization.

While the stance of AKP Chairman and President Erdoğan—whose candidacy in the presidential election is occasionally brought to the agenda—has not yet been clarified, posts from AKP figures regarding how the AKP's administration will be after Erdoğan have drawn attention.

While backstage information regarding tension between the son-in-law and the son for the seat is being shared, it has been noted that AKP figures are also making their sides clear.

While the name pointed to by AKP's Tayyar is Berat Albayrak, Mücahit Birinci's preference was for Bilal Erdoğan.

Here are those statements from Şamil Tayyar and Mücahit Birinci:

ŞAMİL TAYYAR

I have expressed this before; let me repeat it by elaborating a bit.

We observe that the space for civil politics has been narrowing recently, that bureaucracy is filling this void, and that new, uncontrolled power groups are emerging within the state.

This development, which will eventually lead to the liquidation of politics, is undermining the AK Party and weakening its social ties.

Naturally, as we enter the election process, political risk is increasing for the ruling party.

I will not prolong the matter.

At this point, there is a need for a strong and reliable figure who will shoulder our President's burden, put the relationship between politics and bureaucracy on track, not carry concerns about the future, and make a new covenant with society.

Everyone can offer an alternative.

My personal opinion is that Berat Albayrak is the most suitable for this role.

This duty is not necessarily a ministry or party management position—though it would be good if it were—but rather a job description that will ensure the construction of a secure bridge between the presidency and politics and bureaucracy.

For example, like a powerful Chief Advisory position.

With such an intermediate station, the abuse of our President's power  would also be prevented.

It is not Berat Bey who needs this, but the AK Party.

If there is a stronger and more suitable actor to undertake this mission, they can also be tried.

I could not find one; if anyone has, then so be it.

The issue I want to draw attention to is the urgency of this need.

MÜCAHİT BİRİNCİ

I know Şamil brother; we served together in the MKYK during the same period. He is a sincere man. There is no malice in him; he speaks his mind without a veil. Let me state this first.

However;

Turkey needs our President for another 10 years. Our President also has the energy and ability to continue this duty for another 10 years without interruption or conflict. I have not the slightest doubt about this. I presented and explained this on TV today as well.

If for any reason our President does not express this will to govern, which will be his own decision, in my personal opinion, the person who should come after him should be Mr. Bilal Erdoğan.

Beyond being our President's child, Bilal Bey possesses many superior qualities.

Most importantly, Bilal Erdoğan is not a "tried" political figure. Bilal Bey adds a new dynamism to the country with his vision.

With all my respect...
