In a post shared on his social media account, Bahçeli stated, "I am deeply saddened by the passing of our esteemed artist Ms. Filiz Akın, a distinguished and exceptional name in Turkish cinema and one of the 'four-leaf clovers.' I pray for God's mercy upon the late Ms. Akın and extend my condolences to her family, as well as the art and cinema community. May she rest in peace."
