Congratulations from Abdullah Gül to Erdoğan and Bahçeli: 'A new door has opened'
As the regulation forming the legal framework for the second resolution process enters into force, 11th President Abdullah Gül thanked the political leaders and state officials who contributed to the process, primarily AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli.

The framework law prepared within the scope of the second resolution process and adopted by the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) has been published in the Official Gazette and has entered into force.
11th President Abdullah Gül made a statement regarding the framework law.
Sharing on his X account, Gül stated, "I congratulate the political leaders, primarily President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli, who took this courageous step, as well as the state officials who prepared the groundwork for this consensus behind the scenes." he said.

"The Law, which was published in the Official Gazette today with the approval of the President, has opened a new door in the resolution of the Kurdish issue, one of the important topics of our Republican history. I congratulate the political leaders, primarily President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli, who took this courageous step, as well as the state officials who prepared the groundwork for this consensus behind the scenes. I wish for this law to be beneficial for Turkey. I have always maintained my belief that good things will happen."
The Law, which was published in the Official Gazette today with the approval of the President, has opened a new door in the resolution of the Kurdish issue, one of the important topics of our Republican history.
