Consecutive armed attacks on Koç Group! Otokoç dealership targeted

New incidents have occurred regarding attacks on companies affiliated with Koç Holding. Following the armed attack on an Otokoç dealership in Diyarbakır, Yapı Kredi Bank branches and ATMs at different locations were also targeted.

It is stated that the attacks occurred following a joke told by Koç Holding Honorary Chairman Rahmi Koç regarding Kurdish women.

ATTACK CARRIED OUT ON OTOKOÇ DEALERSHIPS

It was reported that armed attacks were carried out on two separate Otokoç branches operating under the Koç Group the day before yesterday.

While security forces have launched an investigation into the incidents following the attacks, it was learned that efforts to identify the person or persons who carried out the attacks are ongoing.

THIS TIME A Yapı Kredi BRANCH WAS TARGETED

Following the attacks on the Otokoç branches, a Yapı Kredi Bank branch located in the central Sur district of Diyarbakır was also subjected to an armed attack yesterday.

While the bank branch was targeted in the attack carried out by person or persons whose identities have not yet been determined, an investigation into the incident has been launched.

ATMS ALSO RIDDLED WITH BULLETS ON THE SAME DAY

The second attack on Yapı Kredi Bank in Diyarbakır occurred in the morning hours.

Two ATMs located in the Ofis neighborhood of the central Yenişehir district, which were stated to belong to the bank, were targeted with gunfire by unidentified person or persons.

While material damage occurred due to the bullets hitting the ATMs, an investigation was conducted at the scene.

INVESTIGATION INTO THE ATTACKS CONTINUES

It was stated that security units are continuing their work regarding the consecutive attacks carried out against institutions affiliated with the Koç Group.

It was learned that the investigation launched to identify the person or persons who carried out the attacks and to clarify the incidents is ongoing.
