Constitutional Court issues financial audit decision for 9 political parties

The Constitutional Court audited the financial accounts of 9 political parties for various years; the review concluded that the income-expenditure statements of all parties were in compliance with the law.

The Constitutional Court (AYM) has published its financial audit decisions regarding various political parties in the Official Gazette. Within the scope of these decisions, the final accounts of 9 parties for different years were examined.

During the audit process, the 2021 accounts of the New Welfare Party (Yeniden Refah Partisi), Pluralist Democracy Party, Patriotic Party (Vatan Partisi), Patriots Party (Vatanseverler Partisi), Al Sancak Party, and Independence Party were reviewed. Additionally, the 2021 and 2022 financial records of the Democracy and Progress Party (DEVA), as well as the 2022 records of the Labor Movement Party and the Liberal Democratic Party, were examined.

Following the evaluation, the High Court ruled that the final accounts of the aforementioned parties for the specified periods were accurate and balanced according to the available information and documents. The examinations also concluded that the accounts were in compliance with the Law on Political Parties No. 2820.
