Construction worker falls to his death in Mardin

A worker has lost his life as a result of an accident at a construction site in the Artuklu district of Mardin. 50-year-old Mehmet Şükrü Akyol, who was working on a project in the central Nur neighborhood, fell from the 12th floor to the concrete ground for reasons yet unknown during the morning hours.
Upon the immediate notification of the incident by other workers in the vicinity, health and police teams were quickly dispatched to the scene. Medical personnel determined that Mehmet Şükrü Akyol had lost his life.
Akyol's body was taken to the morgue of the Mardin Training and Research Hospital for the necessary procedures.
