According to a report by Halk TV, it is claimed that the audit, which was launched due to corruption allegations and is expected to last for one week, is also being closely monitored by the Ministry of Interior.
REACTION FROM THE MUNICIPALITY: 'PERCEPTION OPERATION'
In a statement issued by the municipality, it was noted that routine audits conducted at certain intervals are applicable to every institution; however, it was stated that certain individuals are bringing this situation to the social media agenda for the purpose of political and rent-seeking settling of scores, and that the posts in question constitute a "perception operation."
