Counter-terrorism operation against 17 suspects in 3 provinces

The Istanbul Provincial Gendarmerie Command's Counter-Terrorism Branch conducted an operation against 17 suspects who are under investigation for membership in the separatist terrorist organization PKK/KCK-YPG/PYD and were identified as being part of the TJA and DGH structures in line with the instructions of the PKK-KCK armed terrorist organization.

While the operation was carried out against 12 individuals in Istanbul, 1 in Gaziantep, and 1 in Ağrı, it was learned that arrest warrants will be issued for 3 other suspects in the case who were determined to be abroad.
