Counterfeit alcohol claims a life in İzmir
In the Karabağlar district of İzmir, one person has lost their life due to suspected counterfeit alcohol poisoning.

Relatives who found İsmail Nişan, who lived alone in the Bozyaka neighborhood of İzmir's Karabağlar district, unresponsive at home reported the situation to police and medical teams.
Upon examination, medical teams determined that Nişan had passed away.
Counterfeit alcohol was found in a plastic bottle at the home.
Nişan's body, suspected to have been poisoned by the counterfeit alcohol, was taken to the İzmir Forensic Medicine Institute morgue for an autopsy.
