Courthouse robber turns out to be a fan of 'Fesli Kadir'

Erdal Timurtaş, who carried out one of the largest courthouse robberies in recent years, disappeared after stealing 154 million liras. Following the robbery, a decision was made to issue a red notice for Erdal Timurtaş. All connections and financial accounts of the fugitive suspect are being meticulously examined. However, it was stated that no investigation has been opened against any other person yet, apart from the clerks working at the courthouse.

SECURITY CAMERA FOOTAGE FROM THE DAY OF THE ROBBERY HAS EMERGED

Security camera footage showing the moments Erdal Timurtaş entered the courthouse has also been released. In the footage, the suspect is seen entering the courthouse's evidence office with an empty shopping cart. Later, the moments he filled the shopping cart with black trash bags containing gold and silver and left the courthouse were captured on camera. This footage has shed new light on how the robbery was carried out.

A FAN OF FESLI KADIR

As a result of the investigations, it was determined that Erdal Timurtaş frequently praised Kadir Mısırlıoğlu (Fesli Kadir) on the social media platform Facebook and made posts containing hostility toward Atatürk. The content on Timurtaş's social media accounts has caused a widespread reaction in the public eye.

According to the statements of neighborhood residents, Timurtaş's religious beliefs were quite strong. Timurtaş was described as a person who took care to perform his prayers without fail and to observe his fasts.
