Cowboy town in Kocaeli engulfed in flames
A major fire broke out in an area used as a cowboy town and hotel in the Karamürsel district of Kocaeli. As flames engulfed the wooden structures, some surrounding village houses were also damaged. Numerous firefighting teams were dispatched to the scene, and an intensive effort was launched to bring the fire under control. While the cause of the fire has not yet been determined, residents in the area experienced great panic.

The incident occurred at approximately 01:30 at night in the Çamçukur neighborhood. A fire broke out for reasons yet to be determined in the area used as a cowboy town and hotel.
The fire, which started in an area with wooden structures, grew in a short time. As the flames illuminated the night, numerous fire and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. The flames also spread to some nearby houses. Teams from the Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality Fire Department fought for a long time to bring the flames under control.
Some citizens were affected by the smoke. Medical teams waiting at the scene intervened to assist those affected by the smoke. Cooling efforts by the teams at the scene are ongoing.
An investigation into the fire has been launched.
