Criminal complaint filed against former Datça Mayor Gürsel Uçar
MHP Datça District Chair Gökhan Akyel and a group of party members have filed a criminal complaint against former CHP Datça Mayor Gürsel Uçar for "inciting the public to hatred and hostility."

Following the filing of the complaint, Akyel stated outside the courthouse that they had filed the complaint against the former mayor both on behalf of the MHP Provincial Presidency and in his personal capacity.
Ülkü Ocakları Datça District Chair Ali Eren also reacted to the former mayor's remarks, which have been featured in national media for the past two days.
During the handover ceremony held for the newly elected Datça Mayor Aytaç Kurt, former CHP Mayor Gürsel Uçar had used the expressions "MHP members are fascists" and "right-wingers are sycophants, do not be deceived by the word right-winger."
