The routine detention review for Fenerbahçe player Mert Hakan Yandaş and Galatasaray player Metehan Baltacı, who were arrested as part of the investigation on December 9, 2025, has been concluded.

According to information provided by journalist Muratcan Altuntoprak, the review conducted for the defendants held in custody as part of the betting investigation resulted in a decision to continue the detention of all incarcerated defendants, including Mert Hakan Yandaş and Metehan Baltacı.

It has been learned that the judicial process initiated by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding allegations of betting activities in the football world is ongoing, and examinations within the scope of the file are continuing.
