Iranian Vice President Esmail Sekab İsfahani addressed Israel and Gulf countries in response to threats from US President Donald Trump. Following Trump's announcement that he would target Iran's power plants, Isfahani stated in a post on the X social media platform, "Store water and charge your phones within 48 hours."

Isfahani claimed that developments in the Strait of Hormuz have placed Trump and the US under immense pressure. He pointed out that this pressure would also affect other powers in the region and lead to serious consequences. Furthermore, Isfahani stated that if Iran's potential retaliatory strikes were to target US and Israeli infrastructure in the region, it would put the US in an even more difficult position.

IRAN'S WARNING ON INFRASTRUCTURE TARGETS

First Vice President of Iran Mohammad Reza Aref made another statement on the matter, warning that "an attack on Iranian infrastructure will lead to widespread power outages in the region." Aref stated that Iran would take all necessary measures to respond to such attacks.

US President Donald Trump had stated in his remarks following the developments in the Strait of Hormuz, "If Iran does not fully open the Strait of Hormuz within 48 hours, the US will target and destroy Iran's power plants."
