Confessional statements continue to emerge regarding the İsmailağa community, which has experienced a significant split following the death of Mahmut Ustaosmanoğlu. Mahmut Ünlü, known as Cübbeli Ahmet, claimed that children in the sect are constantly made to use profanity and recite curses.

Ahmet Mahmut Ünlü, known by the nickname Cübbeli Ahmet, who was once an important figure for the İsmailağa Community, was purged following the leadership race within the sect.

"THEY ARE MADE TO RECITE CURSES AFTER PRAYERS"

According to a report by Rıfat Kırcı from Gerçek Gündem, Cübbeli Ahmet claimed in his statement that after the prayers led for children, they are made to recite curses against him and are forced to use vulgar profanity.

On the other hand, Ünlü also stated that the age for memorizing the Quran (hafızlık) starts from the age of 4, and provided information regarding the practices İsmailağa imposes on the children in its care.

“YOU ARE FORCING OTHER PEOPLE'S CHILDREN TO PERFORM RABITA TO THIS PERSON"

In his statement on the subject, Cübbeli Ahmet said, “The Diyanet's courses are more successful. I see some inefficiency in ours.

I see a lack of control. The biggest lack of control is that a 10-year-old child memorizing the Quran is not woken up for Tahajjud at 03:00. If you wake a child who is memorizing the Quran for Tahajjud at 03:00, of course, they will get up for the morning prayer and not sleep until Ishraq; at that time, the mind works very well and they will study their memorization, but if you wake a child who is memorizing the Quran at 03:00, their efficiency decreases.

The older ones are different, of course, but memorization starts at age 6-7, or even at age 4. In terms of Quran courses and madrasas, you are forcing other people's children to perform Rabita to this person. You make them get up and say, 'Curse Cübbeli.' You tell them, 'You will swear at everyone after the prayers,'” he said.

(Teveccüh refers to prayers performed after the night prayer, while Ishraq refers to prayers performed after the morning prayer.)
