The 'fake diploma' scandal in Turkey continues to maintain its place on the agenda.

To date, judicial proceedings have been initiated against 220 people regarding the matter, and public lawsuits have been filed against 199 suspects. In the investigation in question, 37 individuals have been arrested.

While the investigation continues, a statement regarding the issue also came from Ahmet Mahmut Ünlü, known in the public eye as 'Cübbeli Ahmet'.

"THIS IS THE DIRE STATE THE SYSTEM HAS REACHED"

Making a statement via his social media account, Cübbeli said, "When I looked at the speeches and posts of these people, I couldn't help but think, 'Did they buy their diplomas from a grocery store?' It turns out that many of their diplomas were fake. This is the dire state the system has reached.

May Allah Almighty protect the Ummah from the evil of fake doctors, fake associate professors, and fake professors, as well as from the mollahs who receive fake 'ijazah' (certificates) from madrasas without deserving them, and from the 'muteshayyihs' (those who pose as sheikhs) who accept sheikhdom without being sheikhs. Amen!" he stated.
