Data revealed: Israel has imported almost all of its boron from Turkey!

Journalist Metin Cihan has shared data showing that since October 2023, when Israel began its attacks on Gaza, it has imported 96-97% of its boron shipments from Turkey.

Before the local elections, protests against the AKP government regarding the continuation of trade with Israel had become a major topic of discussion.

After the AKP suffered a defeat in the March 31 local elections, the Ministry of Trade announced that it had imposed restrictions on exports to Israel.

Journalist Metin Cihan, who has been sharing documents regarding the trade conducted by the AKP government with Israel, has shared striking data.

ISRAEL IS PURCHASING BORON FROM TURKEY

In a post on his X (Twitter) account, Cihan drew attention to the boron imported by Israel since October 2023, when it began its attacks on civilians in Gaza. Cihan stated that Israel has been importing the boron in question primarily from Turkey.

According to the data shared by Cihan, in October 2023, Israel sourced 96.7% of its imported boron from Turkey and 3.3% from Germany.

A similar situation is observed in the data for January 2024. In January, Israel sourced 96.3% of its imported boron from Turkey and 3.7% from the United Kingdom.

Cihan's post is as follows;

"I am looking at the details of our state-facilitated boron shipments to Israel. Since the attacks on Gaza began, Israel has imported boron (in the form of boric acid) in October 2023, January 2024, and March 2024. We are the main supplier; we have sent almost all of it.
