Death threat against individual who filed 'Imamoglu's diploma is fake' complaint: Two suspects arrested
Two suspects who threatened to kill an individual who had filed a complaint alleging that Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem Imamoglu's diploma was fake have been arrested.

According to the information obtained, on Friday, March 14, O.Ö., who had previously filed a complaint alleging that Ekrem Imamoglu's diploma was fake, reported that he had been threatened with death.
Following the initiation of an investigation into the complaint, officers from the Ankara Police Department's Public Security Branch identified the suspects as F.E.H. and Y.E.Ş.
Upon determining that the suspects were staying at a house in the province of Izmir, they were apprehended and taken into custody as a result of an operation conducted jointly with officers from the Izmir Public Security Branch.
It was learned that the suspect F.E.H. was wanted with a finalized 6-year prison sentence, while the suspect Y.E.Ş. had a significant criminal record.
As a result of the search conducted at the daily rental house where the suspects were staying in Izmir, 1 air rifle, which they displayed while threatening O.Ö. with death, was seized.
It was reported that the suspects will be referred to the courthouse after the completion of the necessary judicial procedures.
