Death threat against journalist Murat Ağırel

Journalist Murat Ağırel, in a statement made on his social media account, claimed that death threats against him are increasingly growing and that an execution order has been issued. Ağırel stated that these threats were clearly voiced in a video published by an individual and shared the video with the public.

Ağırel said that this threat is not the first and that he has received similar threats before. Expressing that he has reported this situation to the authorities multiple times, Ağırel said, "The people who wait in front of my house every day, watch me, and go through my trash reveal the reality of these threats."

Ağırel stated that he faces a new death threat every day, noting that there is pressure to have his books confiscated, that a constant watch is kept in front of his house, and that lawsuits are being filed against him one after another.

In a video published by an individual on social media and sent to me, it is clearly stated that a contract has been put out for my murder and that an execution order has been issued for me. I am now sharing this video with you.
