The weather conditions, which caused major destruction particularly in Texas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Mississippi, and Alabama, have left thousands of people homeless, and it was reported that at least 29 people were injured and taken to hospitals.
According to information provided by state officials, 12 people lost their lives in Missouri, 6 in Mississippi, 8 in Kansas, 3 each in Arkansas and Texas, and 1 in Oklahoma.
Meteorologists announced that the storm will continue to have an effect throughout the weekend and that the danger of tornadoes is emerging in Mississippi and Alabama.
