Decision made to evacuate apartment building deemed risky in Küçükçekmece
In Küçükçekmece, a decision has been made to evacuate a 5-story apartment building after cracks were detected in its columns. Following inspections at the building in Kemalpaşa Neighborhood, it was determined to be risky in terms of life safety. Municipal, municipal police, and police teams notified the residents of the evacuation order in the morning and requested that the building be vacated during the day.

A 6-person delegation consisting of representatives from the Küçükçekmece Municipality and Istanbul Aydın University completed their report after inspecting the 5-story building on Bağlar Street in Kemalpaşa Neighborhood, where cracks had formed in the columns on September 27.
In the report they prepared, the delegation expressed the opinion that the use of the building in its current state would be hazardous in terms of life safety and that it should be evacuated immediately. Following this, municipal officials, municipal police, and police teams arrived at the street where the building is located in the morning.
The teams notified the apartment residents of the evacuation order and informed them that the building must be vacated during the day.
