The Central Executive Board (MYK) meeting, chaired by CHP Chairman Özgür Özel, has concluded. The meeting, which began at 19:15 at the CHP Headquarters, was held behind closed doors and lasted 2 hours and 40 minutes.

It was learned that the meeting addressed developments in the process that began with the DEM Party's visit to Imrali and evaluated the party's stance, while it was reported that Özel briefed MYK members on his meeting with the DEM Party delegation in Parliament.

10-MEMBER COMMISSION

In his group meeting, Özel had proposed the establishment of a commission in Parliament with the participation of all parties, stating, "We once again propose the establishment of a fully authorized commission that will implement a democracy plan in Parliament where no political party is excluded and that will inform the public with transparency." The CHP has established a Preparation Commission regarding the process that began with the DEM Party delegation's visit to Imrali. CHP officials stated that the 10-member Preparation Commission is chaired by Gökçe Gökçen, the CHP's Shadow Minister of Justice. The commission includes experienced individuals who have previously worked on this issue.

PRESENTATION MADE REGARDING CHP'S ECONOMY TOURS

Economic developments, the minimum wage, and pension payments were also on the agenda at the MYK. CHP Deputy Chairman responsible for the Treasury and Finance Ministry, Yalçın Karatepe, and Deputy Chairman responsible for the Ministry of Trade, Volkan Demir, gave a presentation on Turkey's economic outlook and the CHP's economy tours. CHP officials described the presentation as "the preparation of an economic program that will produce solutions to the country's problems."

"EFFORTS OF THOSE CREATING PERCEPTION"

Regarding allegations that deputies opposed to the leadership within the party would publish a declaration, CHP officials commented, "It is constantly being talked about, but there is nothing there. This is just the effort of those who want to create a perception as if there is a problem within the CHP. The issue is not just about whether a declaration is written or not; it is useful to look at the party base and the polls."
