Decision reached regarding Rasim Ozan Kütahyalı

Rasim Ozan Kütahyalı, who was under investigation for the crime of "publicly disseminating misleading information" and was detained in Bolu, was released on the condition of judicial control and a travel ban after providing his statement to the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office via the SEGBİS system.

An investigation was launched into journalist Rasim Ozan Kütahyalı due to his remarks that "a trustee will be appointed to the Republican People's Party." Kütahyalı was apprehended at the Çaydurt location of the TEM Highway as a result of a pursuit by police teams affiliated with the Bolu Provincial Security Directorate while he was traveling in his vehicle.

Following his detention, Rasim Ozan Kütahyalı was transferred to the Bolu İzzet Baysal State Hospital Central Unit for health checks after his processing at the police station. Once his procedures there were completed, Kütahyalı was brought to the Bolu Courthouse. Rasim Ozan Kütahyalı provided his statement to the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office via the SEGBİS system.

Following the statement procedures, Kütahyalı was released by the Duty Magistrate's Office, to which he was referred via the SEGBİS system, on the condition of judicial control and a travel ban.
