DEM Party announces: PKK's announcement of congress is a matter of time

DEM Party Spokesperson Ayşegül Doğan, in her assessment, stated that it is very close for the PKK to announce that it has convened its congress, saying, 'It is a matter of time before the PKK announces it has convened its congress. We are waiting for this historic step with importance. We will fulfill our responsibilities with determination. What follows this step is important; significant tasks fall upon politics.'

Ayşegül Doğan stated in her remarks that an assassination attempt against Sırrı Süreyya Önder had been reported to the authorities, saying, 'Sırrı Süreyya Önder reported the assassination attempt to the authorities. A device intended to blow out the tire was found. The device was handed over to the authorities. Precautions were taken following the assassination attempt against Önder.'

Confirming reports that Van MP Pervin Buldan was involved in a traffic accident in Rome, Italy, Doğan stated, 'It should not be considered an assassination attempt. Keskin Bayındır was also in the vehicle. It occurred because the person driving the vehicle entered the wrong way. It was a traffic accident in which no one was harmed.'
