DEM Party MP Sırrı Sakık’s son arrested
Cenk Sakık, the son of DEM Party Ağrı MP Sırrı Sakık, who was wanted for wounding a person with a firearm in Ankara, has been arrested by the duty magistrate judge on charges of 'attempted intentional murder' and sent to prison.

The Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office launched an investigation following a report that a person identified as M.K. was wounded by gunfire during an argument in the Çankaya district of Ankara.
As a result of the investigation conducted by the District Police Department teams, it was determined that the person who shot M.K. and fled the scene was Cenk Sakık, the son of DEM Party Ağrı MP Sırrı Sakık.
Subsequently, Sakık, who surrendered with the weapon he used during the incident, was referred to the Ankara Courthouse after his processing at the police station.
After giving his statement to the public prosecutor, Sakık was referred to the duty magistrate judge on charges of 'attempted intentional murder,' where he was ordered to be arrested and sent to prison.
Cenk Sakık’s uncle, Şemdin Sakık, was the person who gave the order for the treacherous attack carried out by PKK terrorists in Bingöl in 1993, in which 33 soldiers were martyred.
