DEM Party official detained
DEM Party Adıyaman Central District Chair, lawyer Yusuf Ö., has been detained on grounds of making statements against the Republic of Turkey.

Following a press statement titled 'No to Occupation and Betrayal' by Yusuf Ö., the Adıyaman Central District Chair of the Peoples' Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party), the Adıyaman Chief Public Prosecutor's Office took action.
Teams from the Police Department's Counter-Terrorism Branch conducted a dawn operation at the residence of Yusuf Ö., who is under investigation for making statements against the Republic of Turkey.
Yusuf Ö. was taken into custody and referred to the courthouse following processing.
