According to information obtained from DEM Party sources, party members are expecting three initial steps from the government.

DEM Party members believe that the process will also serve as a test of sincerity for the government.

According to the behind-the-scenes information reported in Gazete Duvar, DEM Party members are first demanding the release of ill prisoners in jails. Following this, they expect the removal of the obstacle preventing the release of prisoners who are not being paroled due to the negative opinions of prison observation boards, and the repeal of the regulation that allows for the appointment of trustees to municipalities, which was submitted to the Speaker of Parliament by 10 political parties.
