Deniz Yücel to Kemal Memişoğlu: 'You man devoid of humanity!'

Criticism continues to mount against Health Minister Kemal Memişoğlu regarding the Newborn Gang, which is currently on Turkey's agenda. CHP Spokesperson Deniz Yücel gave a harsh response to Minister Memişoğlu's statement that "The public is being kept busy with the newborn gang."

'DEVOID OF HUMANITY'

In a post on his X account, Yücel stated, "You man devoid of humanity! Those babies were murdered because you and people like you did not do your jobs!" Yücel included the following remarks in his statement:

'THE BIGGEST HEALTH SCANDAL'

"One of the biggest health scandals in the history of the Republic is taking place. Babies are being killed for money. The Health Minister comes out and, without any shame, says, 'The public is being kept busy with the newborn gang.' The public is being kept busy, is it? You merciless man! You heartless man! Those babies were murdered because you and people like you did not do your jobs! While you were supposed to be protecting the lives and health of those tiny babies, you were busy with other things. You were busy seeking positions and status for sects, first as the Istanbul Provincial Health Director and then as Minister. You were busy finishing off public hospitals, commercializing healthcare, exacerbating the appointment crisis, and creating drug shortages. You have not left a single institution in this country to trust. You will, of course, one day be held accountable before the law for the lives that have been lost. Shame on you for every second you 'occupy' that seat."
