Dervişoğlu: I give you my word

In his speech at the iftar held at the Merinos Atatürk Congress and Culture Center, Dervişoğlu stated that a process has been initiated for a "Turkey without terrorism" and emphasized the need to work together to build it.

Müsavat Dervişoğlu stated that there is no one who wants Turkey to struggle with the scourge of terrorism.

Stating that the Turkish people need unity and solidarity, Dervişoğlu said, "I give you my word in the presence of God; no matter what the threat before us is, no matter what pressure they try to create, whatever you think, whatever your will is, I promise to fight until my last breath to fulfill it. God is my witness, I have never once made you bow your heads in shame."

Following his speech, Dervişoğlu wore a kalpak presented to him by veterans attending the program. A Bursaspor jersey was also gifted to Dervişoğlu.
