İYİ Party Chairman Müsavat Dervişoğlu attended his party's İzmir Organization Meeting. In addition to Dervişoğlu, the program was attended by the party's deputy chairmen, İzmir Provincial Chairman Ülkü Doğan, İzmir MP Hüsmen Kırkpınar, as well as provincial chairmen and MPs from neighboring provinces.

In his speech, Dervişoğlu recalled the controversies surrounding President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's diploma while addressing the 'diploma' allegations directed at Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu.

HE SPOKE ABOUT THE RESIGNATIONS WITHIN THE İYİ PARTY

Speaking about those who are disgruntled within the party, Dervişoğlu criticized the MPs who resigned without naming them. Stating that he does not care about those who left, Dervişoğlu said:

“There are friends who have put great effort into the establishment of this party from yesterday to today. Today, some are among us and some are not. I am not talking about the MPs who left. I don't even count those who left. I don't care about those who left at all. Politics is done with those who stay, not those who leave. Anyone who has contributed to the establishment of this party has a place in my heart. Some people may feel hurt because they could not find a response to their expectations, or because of the management style. They are people of different temperaments, they may think differently. But we set out on this path together with them. It is your duty to embrace and welcome the friends who are not by your side. But I am not referring to those who say 'If I am not here, there is no İYİ Party' and those who put certain plans into action to harm the party.”

"AFTER THE SYSTEM CHANGE, ONE-MAN RULE CAME INTO EFFECT"

Before the İYİ Party was established, there was a system change in Turkey. That system change... The President is already using extraordinary powers under state of emergency conditions. Therefore, the system change was made so that those powers would become ordinary. Since the system change, one-man rule has come into effect, and the extraordinary has now become ordinary. That is why whatever Recep Tayyip Erdoğan says is perceived as if it were law. There is no one left in the country to raise their voice against him. Delegations went to İmralı and no one said a word. I know that these stem from the system. That is why the first thing that needs to be gotten rid of in Turkey is the system called the Presidential Government System, which serves as the basis for this tyrannical government to remain in power.”

'WHEN YOU THINK OF A DIPLOMA...'

Turkey is constantly faced with artificial agendas. Debates over who will be the presidential candidate, debates over candidate selection within the CHP, and diploma debates regarding someone who is not a candidate within the CHP. That has come to the public's attention today: 'He has a diploma, he doesn't have a diploma'.

I am worried that Tayyip Erdoğan is also losing his political mind sometimes.

When you see your child's diploma, doesn't it come to your mind that Tayyip Erdoğan does not have a diploma?

When you think of a diploma, Tayyip Erdoğan already comes to mind.

Now, let there be a debate over other people's diplomas, let politics set up a game, and let everyone follow the game set up by the government. We founded the İYİ Party to spoil the games of those who set them. We will not be occupied with the artificial agendas they create.
