According to the Yonhap agency, investigations into the accident revealed that the plane had carried out 13 different flights in the last 48 hours.
The Boeing B 737-800 type aircraft had organized tour flights to various destinations such as China, Thailand, Malaysia, Japan and Taiwan before the accident. Officials in the travel industry stated that the plane was used as part of "more affordable" tour packages.
