Details of the double murder in Beylikdüzü have emerged

The double murder, which occurred around 11:00 PM the previous evening on Reşat Nuri Güntekin Street in the Barış neighborhood of Beylikdüzü, allegedly unfolded as follows: Bektaş Eren Kaya (22) and Salih Tutkun (27) met with Ebru T. (18) and Yağmur B. (18), whom they had recently met, at a cafe. After leaving the cafe following their meeting, Kaya and Tutkun were subjected to an armed attack by two suspects on a motorcycle. Following the attack, the two friends collapsed to the ground covered in blood, while the suspects on the motorcycle disappeared. Upon reports from citizens in the vicinity, a large number of police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. While Tutkun lost his life at the scene, Kaya died in the early hours of the morning at the hospital to which he had been taken.

TWO GIRLS TAKEN INTO CUSTODY

Taking action after the incident, teams from the Beylikdüzü District Police Department's Public Security Bureau determined from camera footage that the murdered Kaya and Tutkun had been sitting with two girls at the cafe. Kaya and Tutkun, who left the cafe after a while, were then subjected to an armed attack. After the attack, the two suspects got on a motorcycle without license plates and fled the scene. Following the incident, Ebru T. and Yağmur B., who were with Kaya and Tutkun, were taken into custody.

DETAILS OF THE TRAP REVEALED

All the details of the murder emerged during questioning at the police station. According to the information provided by the girls, hours before the murder, Ebru T. met with her boyfriend, Beytullah K., at a cafe. Her friend Yağmur B. and her boyfriend's friend, Velat B., were also present at this meeting. According to the claims of the two women, Velat B. had a feud with the victim Bektaş Eren Kaya and asked them to call this person to the scene. Upon this request from Velat B., the girls called Eren and arranged to meet at the cafe.

IDENTITIES OF THE MOTORCYCLE-RIDING ATTACKERS DETERMINED

To determine whether this claim was true, the police took Ebru T.'s boyfriend, Beytullah K., into custody. Beytullah K. gave a statement similar to the statements provided by the two women. In the work carried out regarding the incident, it was determined that the attack was carried out by individuals named Velat B. and Ahmed İ. A large-scale investigation is underway to apprehend the two suspects whose identities have been determined.

OTHER SUSPECTS TO BE REFERRED TO THE COURTHOUSE

It was learned that Beytullah K., who was taken into custody along with the two girls, will be referred to the courthouse today.
