ONE PERSON IS SOUGHT WITH A RED NOTICE
After the collapse, contractor Mehmet Yaşar Coşkun, building inspection company official Mehmet Haşim Eraslan, building inspection company manager and company partner Bülent Seküçoğlu, and control inspector Önder Artun were arrested on charges of causing the death of more than one person through conscious negligence. Building inspection company officials A.K., construction technician I.D., and site manager B.M. were released to be tried without arrest. Hüseyin Yalçın Coşkun, the brother of the fugitive contractor Mehmet Yaşar Coşkun and the residence's static project manager, site manager, and company partner, is being sought with a red notice.
HE SUFFERED A HEART ATTACK
During today's hearing, as contractor Mehmet Yaşar Coşkun was presenting his defense, company partner Bülent Seküçoğlu suddenly suffered a heart attack and collapsed. Medical teams present in the courtroom provided initial intervention to Seküçoğlu before he was taken to the hospital by ambulance. The hearing was adjourned following the incident.
