It has been learned that Uludağ, whose statement procedures at the Vatan Police Headquarters have concluded, has been referred to the Istanbul Courthouse.

In a statement issued by the Public Prosecutor's Office, it was reported that an ex officio investigation had been launched against Uludağ on charges of "Publicly Insulting the President" and "Publicly Spreading Misleading Information" regarding certain posts made on social media under the username "@alicanuludağ".

"An ex officio investigation has been launched by our Chief Public Prosecutor's Office into certain posts made by the individual named Alican Uludağ via the X social media account with the handle '@alicanuludağ' on charges of 'Publicly Insulting the President' and 'Publicly Spreading Misleading Information,' and the suspect has been apprehended and detained in the province of Ankara. Instructions have been issued for the individual to be presented at our Chief Public Prosecutor's Office on 20.02.2026. The investigation is being conducted meticulously.
