It has been learned that an investigation was launched into a citizen due to complaints filed by Bahçeli's lawyers.
The citizen made a post stating, “Following the news that Devlet Bahçeli had a heart attack and was taken to the hospital, apart from his own voter page, no one even wrote a get-well-soon message, especially last night.
A person should think a little about what they will leave behind.
It is already clear what kind of impression he left with the reaction he gave to earthquake victims"
A detention order was issued for the citizen.

The citizen, who was accused of “disinformation” and for whom a detention order was issued due to this post, stated in their testimony to the prosecutor's office, “I made the post. When I made this post, this news had been shared by many written media outlets.
I made the post thinking it was verified news because I saw it on television channels. I have no intention of misinforming the public or inciting them with my post. I am someone who likes the complainant, Devlet Bahçeli. I even went to his congress and many of his events. After my post, I also blocked people who made comments against the complainant. I am not someone who would talk about anyone's health problems. Because my son also has health problems. I pay as much attention as possible to the posts on my Twitter address” said.
The citizen's lawyer, Cemil Çiçek, stated in his explanation, “A detention order had been issued for my client due to a tweet about Devlet Bahçeli that did not contain any crime. They have just been released” he said.
