The Ministry of Justice has initiated the official process for the provisional arrest of fugitive suspect Umut Altaş in the Gülistan Doku investigation and for his international search via a Red Notice.

An arrest warrant had been issued for Umut Altaş, who was determined to be in the USA, in the Gülistan Doku investigation.
The Red Notice process has also been initiated for Altaş.
The Ministry of Justice has notified the relevant ministries to transmit Altaş's extradition file to US authorities and to ensure the issuance of a Red Notice by the INTERPOL General Secretariat.
