Following a cartoon in LeMan magazine, the MHP shared a statement from its Chairman, Devlet Bahçeli, declaring, "The path of our Prophet is our path, his word is our word."

An investigation has been launched into LeMan magazine over a cartoon that sparked interpretations depicting the Prophet Muhammad in the skies above a bombed city, on charges of "publicly insulting religious values."
The cartoonist D.P., the graphic designer C.O., and the Editor-in-Chief Z.A. have been taken into custody.
Following calls for protests, some groups raided the magazine's office in Beyoğlu, while numerous LeMan illustrators were targeted on social media.
The MHP, meanwhile, expressed its reaction to the magazine late at night by sharing Bahçeli's statement: "The path of our Prophet is our path, his word is our word."
