Migros warehouse workers launched a protest against a 28 percent wage hike offer. The workers, who were detained after protesting in front of boss Tuncay Özilhan's house in Beykoz, were later released.
The Beykoz District Governorship issued a ban on the workers' weeks-long protest. However, the workers continued their action, and lawyers filed a criminal complaint against Migros boss Özilhan.
DGD-SEN Chair Neslihan Acar announced that the resisting Migros warehouse workers have won.
In a statement on her social media account, Acar said, "Migros warehouse workers who resisted with unity have won. We have won. The resisting and winning Migros warehouse workers are our pride."
