According to a report by Gökçer Tahincioğlu from Oksijen, it is alleged that Mansur Yavaş told Ekrem İmamoğlu, "If you can get 50+1, I have no objection to your candidacy," to which İmamoğlu replied, "I am not Mr. Kemal. If I feel that I cannot be elected, I will withdraw. I will return the mandate to the Chairman."
It was learned that another brief meeting took place between Özel and Yavaş before the triple summit, during which Özel gave Yavaş the message, "If we stand united, we will win the presidency; let us not drift apart."
