Dilan Polat, Engin Polat, and Sezgin Polat arrested over attack on Banu Parlak's beauty salon!

Dilan Polat, Engin Polat, and Sezgin Polat, who were already in custody on charges of money laundering, were brought to the Küçükçekmece Courthouse in connection with the shooting at Banu Parlak’s business. 

In a written statement regarding the matter, the Küçükçekmece Chief Public Prosecutor's Office announced that the couple and Sezgin Polat were arrested for "inciting the crime of armed threat by more than one person acting together."

The written statement is as follows:

"A press release has been deemed necessary due to reports in written and visual media on 14/11/2023 titled 'Armed attack on Banu Parlak's beauty center, Dilan-Engin Polat couple gave statements as instigators.'

Within the scope of the investigation conducted by our Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding the incident where the Banu Parlak Beauty Salon, owned by the complainant Banu Parlak and located on Doğa Parkı Street in the Gölet area of Bahçeşehir 1st Section, was shot at twice on the same day, 01/10/2023, between 02:00 and 04:30; suspects D.P., E.P., and S.P. were referred to court with a request for their arrest for the crime of inciting the crime of armed threat by more than one person acting together, and the duty Magistrate Judge has ordered the arrest of the suspects. All procedures are being carried out effectively within the scope of the investigation to uncover the material truth in every aspect and to take the necessary legal action against those responsible."
