According to the report in Sözcü, after the rumor spread throughout the entire district in a short time, citizens who had entrusted gold to Sade flocked to the jewelry store. Citizens wanting to get their gold back formed long queues outside the shop.

Making a statement as the crowd grew, business owner Emre Sade, who has been a jeweler in the district for years, said, “We are at our post. There is no negative situation. Our business is open. We opened our shop today just like every other day, but we encountered this situation following a rumor spread by malicious individuals to damage our reputation as tradesmen. We continue to provide service at our workplace. We hereby declare that we will exercise all our legal rights regarding the slanderous posts and comments about our business.”
