CHP Deputy Chairman Burhanettin Bulut shared a photo from a chain supermarket in Ankara.

Stating that vegetables once referred to as discards are now being offered for sale at a lower price with a "Ripe vegetable" label, Bulut said, "This is the life they deem fit for our citizens."

Bulut said the following in his post:

"The 'Ripe vegetable' era has begun in supermarkets! This is the life that those who sell dreams of a 'Century of Turkey' deem fit for our citizens! This photo was taken in one of Ankara's most luxurious neighborhoods. One of the chain supermarkets is packaging peppers that are on the verge of rotting and destined for the trash, and selling them to citizens with a 'ripe vegetable' label. Those who sit in their seats and say, 'the economy is this good, that good,' do not even blush while feeding rotten vegetables to the citizens."
